Five Fucking Things

Welcome to the first post of “Five Fucking Things” (title suggestions welcome) – where I will pass onto you five things I’ve felt, done, loved, learned, ate, or just found cool over the last week. 

I will switch these points up weekly, and I’ll be keepin’ it real. Leggoooo.

1. 💀WHAT I’M LISTENING TO… 
I’ve had two songs on repeat over the last week… First up is I Like It by Cardi B, J Balvin, and Bad Bunny. If I’m having trouble getting out of bed to hit the gym, I blast this. You literally CANNOT sit still when you hear this. Ayiiiiyiyiyiii *insert tongue roll* 

I’ve been vibing on this second one for a while now but I can’t get enough of it! All the heart eyes for Conor Maynard + Anth’s remix of Sensualidad (originally by Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Prince Royce)… “body lookin’ good, better under me” … like, I can’t. I’m dead. Enjoy my funeral. And at my funeral, make sure they play this song, serve hella margs, have a photo booth and give free Uber rides to everyone so no one has to worry about staying sober. 

2. 💀WHAT QUOTE IS HITTING ME:

“Your fear of looking stupid is holding you back” – Overall, I really don’t give a fuuuck what people think of me… I’m just over here, floating around, getting tattoos, staying as far away from a cubicle as humanly possible, buying plane tickets instead of paying rent, and believing with all of my heart that I’m going to end up owning multiple Airbnb’s around the world and working part-time at my smoothie shop tucked into the palm trees of some spanish speaking paradise. BUT… sometimes in the smaller moments (like directing on a photo shoot, talking to a guy at a bar, etc) I find myself hesitating. And when I really thought about why, I realized it is because I am afraid of looking stupid. How fucked up is that? This just in – no one gives a fuck what I do, they probably don’t even notice me doing anything at all, so what-the-fuck-ever man. And the absolute worst case scenario is that my fear is true and I look a little stupid. WHO ACTUALLY FUCKING CARES!?

3. 💀BEST PURCHASE I’VE MADE RECENTLY:

This laptop bag by Cocoon Innovations is the actual BOMB. It’s slim, made from a dark canvas, and has a strap on the back to stack on top of your suitcase in the airport. ✈️The main pocket fits my MacBook and notebook perfectly but the REAL magic is in the front pocket… their “Grid It” situation is a gift from the gods!! I’ve always hated when my hard drives and millions of cords float around in my bag, but I could never find a bag that had all the right pockets for my random AF shit (and actually, I hate pockets, so I usually use a bunch of my own mini-bags instead…) but THIS! The grid is surprisingly sturdy and the straps keep their strength even after stretching them to fit my giant ass laptop charger. So. In. LOVE! 

4. 💀WHAT I’M READING:

I just downloaded Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear. I haven’t started it yet, but I have some time on the road this week so I’ll be diving in! It’s by the girl who wrote Eat Pray Love (Elizabeth Gilbert), which I enjoyed, so I’m stoked! 

5. 💀WHAT I’M EDITING:

Ashley + Phil’s wedding! They got hitched in at the beautiful Tempe Center for the Arts in Arizona last month and I’ve been processing their images like a busy little bee. I can’t wait to deliver these images to them!
