Adam + Briana // Married in Los Cabos, Mexico

This week in Cabo was the bomb.com – Nestor and I teamed up on this wedding, him on the video side and me on the photo side, and that was a dream come true and so much fun!! (A few BTS photos at the end of the post..)

We met up with Bri and Adam at a brewery in Minneapolis to talk about their wedding day and what they wanted their wedding documentation to feel like. They said they were awkward in front of the camera and just wanted an artistic, journalistic approach, assuring us that we could simply “do our thing” – awkward shmawkward! Their bride + groom portraits were a breeze and I just kept thinking “OMG I can’t wait to get back to the hotel and edit these!!!”

And of course the freedom to document the day in a manner that we are passionate about was key. We felt like we had the trust and freedom to approach the day with a creative eye… If you want photos that have personality and really capture you + the way it felt that day, invest in someone you can say “do whatever you want!” to and you won’t be sorry! 

I hope these photos + video bring all of you to Los Cabos, at this beautiful beach-side hotel,  with these incredibly warm-hearted people, for 20 minutes. 

This was the first wedding that Nestor and I got to work on together! We’re super excited to continue shooting weddings together in the future! Check out the amazing film he made of this day:

Here’s a a couple behind-the-scenes. The bottom two were at the very end of the reception, a guest asked if he could take a picture of Nestor and I as we were packing up to head back to our hotel. Awwww.
