Lauren // Sweet + Sexy Self-Love Boudoir Session

I used to run boudoir packages in January. This year (2020) I did not because I was in Colombia. Here’s a flash back to Lauren’s session from 2018! Lauren freakin’ KiLLeD it!! We had so much fun not only shooting, but just hanging out, drinking mimosas, and getting to know each other. 

I feel like I don’t get enough “girl time” as an adult (that’s my own fault for not making it a priority)… these sessions mean so much to me because not only does everyone walk away feeling empowered and stoked on some sexy AF photos (myself included), but we ALL get to laugh, be goofy, be creative, talk about insecurities, talk about outfits and careers and our butts and our partners (or lack thereof), make fun drinks and eat fun snacks, and just freakin’ LIFT EACH OTHER UP. It’s like you get to clock out of the world, out of your responsibilities… I don’t know how else to explain it. It’s incredibly good for the soul.

Here’s a little “behind-the-scenes” video we whipped up during our 2018 v-day test shoot with our amaaaaaaaaaazing model, Emilie Robinson (who is a supa badass tattoo artist.. check her out!)!!  The shitty quality was purposeful.. this is what it really looks and feels like during a boudoir session with myself and Jen: FUNNY. Indulgent. Safe. Connected. Relaxed. Team work. Silly. Sexy. Celebratory. Rollin’ with the punches.
